Job Description
Box is the leader in Intelligent Content Management, helping organizations fuel collaboration and transform business workflows with enterprise AI. As a Sales Development Representative, you will act as the initial point of contact for new customers, engage with potential clients, and work closely with Account Executives to manage leads and foster connections with clientele.
Responsibilities
- Act as the initial point of contact for new customers via our sales channels and respond promptly to their inquiries
- Engage with potential clients through various communication channels such as calls, emails, and marketing efforts aimed at creating business opportunities
- Successfully negotiate and close contracts for deals valued at less than $5,000 in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR)
- Foster connections with a wide range of clientele and encourage discussions about Box solutions
- Demonstrate attentive listening skills when understanding customer requirements and articulating how Box can meet those needs effectively
- Meet established quota targets for territorial revenue growth consistently
- Adhere to Box’s standards when using the Salesforce system while also providing lead metrics
- Occasionally close deals yourself with smaller organizations

- Previous experience in a lead generation role or sales
- Track record of success in a performance-driven role focused on meeting specific metrics
