🌍 Remote, USA 🚀 Full-time 🕐 Posted Recently

Job Description

As CauseMic’s Technology Consultant for a large Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud project, you will step into a key delivery role supporting a Salesforce implementation for an existing client for a project that is currently underway. You’ll serve as both a client-facing project manager and a hands-on Salesforce consultant, helping guide the project forward while leading solution design and build work—especially across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, which are not yet fully built out.

This role is ideal for someone who can move comfortably between stakeholder conversations, requirements gathering, solution architecture, sprint planning, and platform configuration. You should be able to bring structure to an active project, build trust with clients, and translate evolving business needs into practical, scalable Salesforce solutions.

The contacts for this client are fun, engaging and we do a lot of laughing and joking together.

You’ll work closely with internal team members (Technical Architect and Engagement Manager) and client stakeholders to define priorities, manage delivery, and design a thoughtful user experience across core Salesforce functionality. This is a remote, part-time contract role.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will help lead the next phase of the project by providing both project leadership and Salesforce consulting expertise. Responsibilities include:

Project Leadership and Client Management

Serve as a primary day-to-day point of contact for the client on the project alongside a Technical Architect and Engagement Director

Lead client meetings, status calls, work sessions, and follow-up communication

Maintain project momentum by managing scope, priorities, risks, timeline, and next steps

Translate business discussions into clear requirements, user stories, and actionable work items

Partner with internal team members to align solution design, delivery plans, and client expectations

Produce and maintain core project deliverables such as project plans, status updates, decision logs, requirements documentation, testing plans, and deployment plans

Help the client make sound decisions about priorities, tradeoffs, and phased delivery

Salesforce Solution Design and Delivery

Lead requirements discovery for business processes related to Sales Cloud and Service Cloud

Design scalable solutions that align with the client’s operational goals and end-user needs

Configure Salesforce functionality including fields, objects, page layouts, record types, flows, validation rules, list views, reports, dashboards, and other declarative tools

Design and build automations using Salesforce best practices

Help define data model extensions and business process workflows needed to support the next phase of the implementation

Support testing strategy, QA, user acceptance testing, and deployment readiness

Identify gaps in the current implementation and make recommendations for how to move the platform forward effectively

Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure solutions are practical, adoptable, and well documented

Buildout Focus for This Role

This role is especially focused on the parts of the implementation that still need to be designed and built, including:

Sales Cloud

Service Cloud

Supporting business processes, data structure, automation, and user workflows tied to those areas

The ideal consultant can assess what exists today, determine what still needs definition, and lead the project through design and implementation with confidence.

Who You Are

You are a strong Salesforce consultant who also knows how to run a project. You can facilitate a client conversation, identify what matters, turn it into a plan, and help execute the work. You’re comfortable joining an in-flight project, getting oriented quickly, and bringing order, clarity, and forward motion.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of Salesforce consulting experience, including direct client-facing work

Demonstrated experience leading or heavily supporting Salesforce implementations

Strong experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud

Experience serving in a project management, business analyst, or solution lead capacity on active client engagements

Ability to gather requirements, define user stories, and translate stakeholder needs into solution design

Hands-on Salesforce configuration experience, including automation and reporting

Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, security, and scalable platform design

Experience managing project communications, timelines, deliverables, and client expectations

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with nonprofit organizations or mission-driven clients

Experience stepping into an existing implementation and helping stabilize or advance delivery

Familiarity with change management, stakeholder alignment, and user adoption practices

Experience documenting solution design and collaborating across technical and functional workstreams

Salesforce certifications are a plus

What Success Looks Like in This Role

The project has clear structure, momentum, and ownership

The client feels confident in the plan, priorities, and communication

Sales Cloud and Service Cloud requirements are translated into a practical implementation roadmap

Salesforce solutions are designed and configured in a way that is scalable, well tested, and aligned to real business needs

Internal and client stakeholders have clarity on decisions, risks, and next steps
