- *SAP RAR Consultant / Expert – Production Issue Resolution**
- *Engagement Type: Contract (6+ months)**

- *Role Overview**
- Our client is experiencing a critical production issue within SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) and is seeking a senior-level SAP RAR Consultant who is a strong problem solver, not just a configurator. This consultant will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex production issues related to revenue recognition and financial postings.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Own and resolve SAP RAR production issues through root-cause analysis
- Troubleshoot revenue contracts, POBs, allocations, and event-based revenue recognition
- Analyze and fix posting failures between SAP RAR and SAP FI/GL
- Review and correct RAR configuration including SSP and allocation rules
- Collaborate with Finance, SAP FI/CO, SD, and ABAP teams
- Stabilize production and support testing and validation
- Document findings, fixes, and preventative recommendations
- *Required Skills & Experience**
- 7+ years of SAP experience with strong hands-on SAP RAR expertise
- Proven experience resolving live SAP RAR production issues
- Deep understanding of ASC 606 / IFRS 15
- Strong integration knowledge with SAP FI and SD
- Ability to work under pressure in time-sensitive environments
- Excellent communication skills with business and technical teams
- *Nice to Have**
- SAP S/4HANA RAR experience
- ABAP debugging exposure
- Experience in large enterprise or regulated environments

Production issues are resolved quickly, revenue postings are accurate and auditable, and finance stakeholders regain confidence in the SAP RAR process.
