Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Paraprofessional to join the team at a local school district in the area. This full-time, onsite position is an excellent opportunity to support students in their educational journey and make a meaningful impact in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities...
Assist the classroom teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them understand and complete assignments.
Monitor and assist students during classroom activities, lunch, and recess.
Support students with special needs by adapting materials and strategies to meet their individual requirements.
Caseload may include student with severe behaviors (Hitting, Biting, Spitting, Running).
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or higher preferred.
Experience working with children in an educational setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Toileting and diapering may be required
Patience, flexibility, and a passion for helping students succeed.
Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with a team.
