Role Description

The Senior AI Automation Engineer plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing intelligent AI, machine learning and automation solutions across Integrated Health Technologies’ healthcare ecosystem. Reporting to the Lead AI Developer, this position focuses on building scalable, compliant, and efficient AI-driven automation workflows that enhance clinical decision support, streamline administrative operations, and improve patient engagement. The role requires strong experience developing AI/ML solutions, robotic process automation (RPA), and healthcare data standards, with a commitment to ethical AI practices and regulatory compliance.

Primary Responsibilities

· Design, build, and deploy AI-powered automation workflows for clinical and administrative use cases;

· Integrate machine learning models into RPA platforms and enterprise systems;

· Develop APIs and microservices to support automation pipelines;

· Leverage Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocols to enable secure communication between AI agents, potentially across cloud environments;

· Leverage Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enable AI agents to interface with other systems; and

· Ensure solutions meet scalability, performance, and compliance requirements.

· Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and automation developers;

· Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in automation development;

· Collaborate with Lead AI Developer to align automation initiatives with broader AI strategy; and

· Support MLOps practices for continuous integration and deployment of automation solutions.
