Job Description
Job Summary: The Data Scientist III will support clinical development programs by delivering advanced analytics and data-driven insights to improve clinical trial execution and decision-making. This role focuses on applying statistical modeling, machine learning, and visualization techniques to complex clinical research problems. The position partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to design and deploy fit-for-purpose analytical solutions across the research and development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: β’ Manage and execute analytical support for assigned clinical trials aligned with therapeutic programs β’ Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights across the clinical trial lifecycle β’ Identify study needs and develop risk-based quality management deliverables, reports, and analyses β’ Design and standardize analytical work products to ensure consistency and optimal user experience β’ Develop prototypes, algorithms, and models using advanced statistical, machine learning, and artificial intelligence methods β’ Create key performance indicators, dashboards, and statistical reports to monitor trial performance and emerging risks β’ Act as an analytics consultant to evaluate trial progress and support decision-making discussions β’ Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practices, regulatory guidelines, and internal quality standards Required Qualifications: β’ Bachelorβs degree in Statistics, Analytics, Bioinformatics, Data Science, or a related field β’ Three or more years of analytics experience in clinical research with exposure to clinical data β’ Strong proficiency in R programming and experience with Python or other statistical tools β’ Advanced experience with data visualization tools such as Spotfire, Tableau, or equivalent β’ Proven ability to translate technical findings into clear business insights β’ Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments Preferred Qualifications: β’ Masterβs degree in a related quantitative field β’ Experience applying machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques in clinical development β’ Background in risk-based quality management and clinical trial reporting Benefits: The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, paid time off, paid sick and safe time, hours of paid vacation time, weeks of paid parental leave, and paid holidays annually β as applicable.
