Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Clinical Science to join our team. This candidate will have a proven track record of experience in clinical science, oncology, solid tumors, hematology, and clinical trials. The candidate should also have experience in pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, IND, BLA, clinical data, GCP compliance, CRF design, drug development, and authoring study-related documents. You will play a critical role in leading our clinical science team and driving our clinical development programs forward.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the clinical science team in the design, implementation, and execution of clinical trials for oncology and hematology indications
- Develop and implement clinical development plans for assigned programs
- Ensure clinical trials are conducted in compliance with GCP, regulatory requirements, and company SOPs
- Author clinical study protocols, study reports, and other study-related documents
- Review and analyze clinical trial data, and provide input into clinical study reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including regulatory affairs, medical affairs, and biostatistics
- Interact with external vendors such as CROs, central labs, and clinical trial sites
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Present clinical data to internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in life sciences or related field
- 5+ years of experience in clinical science, oncology, solid tumors, hematology, and clinical trials
- Experience in pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries
- Strong understanding of IND, BLA, clinical data, GCP compliance, CRF design, drug development, and authoring study-related documents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor junior team members
- Experience presenting clinical data to internal and external stakeholders
