Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics plays a critical role in transforming marketing data into insight-driven growth, ensuring Empower's marketing investments directly support patient access, provider adoption, and long-term value creation. This role brings clarity and accountability to marketing performance by delivering trusted measurement, forecasting, and optimization in a highly regulated healthcare environment. By connecting analytics to strategy, this leader helps Empower expand access to quality, affordable medication while accelerating smarter, more effective marketing decisions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Marketing Performance Leadership
- Performance Optimization: Leads end-to-end measurement and continuous optimization of marketing performance across digital, field, and partner channels to improve lead generation efficiency, maximize return on investment, reduce customer acquisition costs, and expand customer lifetime value within a highly regulated healthcare and pharmaceutical environment.
- Channel Analytics: Oversees cross-channel analytics strategy, integrating campaign, media, and pipeline performance data to create unified reporting that enables data-driven budget allocation, investment prioritization, and scalable growth initiatives aligned with enterprise revenue and patient engagement objectives.
- ROI Accountability: Establishes clear performance benchmarks, financial guardrails, and executive dashboards that connect marketing spend to attributable revenue, provider adoption, and patient outcomes, ensuring measurable accountability and transparent performance visibility for senior leadership and board stakeholders.
- Advanced Analytics Strategy
- Attribution Modeling: Develops and continuously refines multi-touch attribution frameworks tailored to regulated healthcare marketing, accurately quantifying the contribution of digital, field, and referral channels while accounting for compliance constraints, long sales cycles, and complex provider decision journeys.
- Incrementality Testing: Designs and executes structured incrementality experiments, including holdout testing and controlled trials, to isolate true marketing impact, validate channel effectiveness, and inform evidence-based budget shifts that maximize measurable business outcomes without compromising regulatory requirements.
- Forecasting Models: Builds predictive forecasting models that project demand generation, pipeline velocity, revenue growth, and lifetime value, enabling proactive planning, scenario analysis, and risk mitigation within dynamic pharmaceutical and provider-focused market conditions.
- Data Infrastructure Partnership
- Analytics Architecture: Defines and advances the marketing data and analytics architecture by partnering with marketing technology and information technology teams to implement scalable, reliable data pipelines, governance standards, and reporting systems that support enterprise-grade decision-making.
- Tool Integration: Leads integration of marketing automation platforms, customer relationship management systems, business intelligence tools, and data warehouses to ensure consistent measurement frameworks, clean data flows, and actionable insights across all stages of the customer lifecycle.
- Data Governance: Establishes rigorous data quality controls, compliance safeguards, and standardized definitions that ensure analytical integrity, audit readiness, and regulatory adherence across campaigns, reporting processes, and performance measurement initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Impact
- Executive Insights: Translates complex analytical findings into concise, executive-ready narratives that clearly connect marketing performance to revenue growth, provider adoption, and patient engagement, enabling confident, strategic decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.
- Strategic Alignment: Serves as the cross-functional analytics leader, aligning marketing insights with product development, sales enablement, operations planning, and compliance priorities to ensure cohesive execution and measurable enterprise impact.
- Experimentation Culture: Fosters a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement by championing data-driven testing frameworks, encouraging hypothesis-based decision-making, and embedding performance measurement rigor across marketing and cross-functional teams.

- Knowledge and Skills
- Expertise in advanced marketing analytics methodologies, including multi-touch attribution, incrementality testing, forecasting, cohort analysis, and customer lifetime value modeling within complex, regulated healthcare or pharmaceutical environments.
- Proficiency in analytics and data platforms such as marketing automation systems, CRM tools, business intelligence dashboards, SQL-based data warehouses, and statistical analysis tools to build scalable, reliable measurement infrastructure.
- Strong executive communication skills with the ability to translate complex quantitative findings into strategic insights that inform investment decisions, revenue growth planning, and cross-functional business alignment.
- Deep understanding of healthcare marketing compliance requirements, data governance standards, and experimentation frameworks necessary to operate effectively within regulated pharmaceutical and provider-focused ecosystems. Key Competencies

- Experience and Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience leading marketing analytics, performance measurement, or data-driven decision-making initiatives within complex, multi-channel marketing environments.
- Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in marketing analytics, data analytics, business, statistics, economics, information systems, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights, influence senior stakeholders, and mentor high-performing analytics professionals.
- Advanced technical proficiency in data analysis, visualization, experimentation, and data governance, with the ability to manage large datasets, design predictive models, and ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy requirements.
