Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Service Manager for a well-respected, multi-location Ag Equipment Sales and Service company.
Qualified applicants understand the importance of doing a job correctly and the value of satisfied customers.
Regular duties include managing a team that does basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment in the shop and service locations.
Responsibilities:
Work with management to oversee all aspects of the Service Department
Assist with assigning jobs to technicians according to their skills and knowledge
Oversee diagnostics, service repairs, assembly and maintenance on all equipment that comes through the shop
Oversee and participate in service training programs
Communicate with management about any customer issues/complaints
Coordinate with other departments to best serve our customers
Maintain a clean area and work in a neat, orderly and safe way.
Requirements:
Superior people and communication skills
Extensive service knowledge in multiple brands of ag equipment
Ability to work flexible hours during peak seasons
Experience managing staff
