Overview
We are seeking an experienced Software Architect – Consultant to support a project upgrading a proprietary application used for accountability tracking. The consultant will assist with requirements gathering, documentation, and modernization planning, along with hands-on technical support.
Key Responsibilities
· Review and analyze existing application architecture and codebase
· Gather, document, and validate technical and functional requirements
· Support modernization and upgrade planning for a proprietary system
· Work with stakeholders to define solution approach and technical roadmap
· Assist with database-related enhancements and improvements
· Support integration planning and data movement using APIs and SQL extracts
· Provide architectural guidance and best practices to improve scalability and maintainability
Required Skills
· 3+ years of experience with C#
· 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL
· 3+ years of experience gathering and documenting project requirements
Preferred Skills
· Familiarity with front-end technologies such as React, JavaScript, or Material UI
· Experience analyzing existing code and creating modernization plans
· Familiarity with 3rd party integrations using REST APIs and SQL extracts
