Job Description
- Role: SQL DeveloperLocation: RemoteKey Responsibilities
- Design and review database schemas for application releases
- Perform database maintenance (index rebuilds, table reorganization)
- Support day-to-day database operations and troubleshooting
- Optimize database performance and query efficiency
- Assist with database upgrades and migration strategies
- Administer multiple SQL Server databases across environments
- Develop views, stored procedures, triggers, and functions
- Work with Microsoft BI stack (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS)
- Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Support ETL processes and data transformation
- Participate in unit testing and assist with system/UAT testing
- Ensure compliance with CJIS architecture standards including JRA, NIEM, NCSC, and GFIPM Required Skills
- 5+ years experience with:
- Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022 (Development & Administration)
- SSRS, SSIS, SSAS
- ETL processes
- Power BI dashboards
- Writing Views, Triggers, Stored Procedures, Functions
- Database performance tuning (indexes, constraints, keys)
- Windows Server 2019/2022
- PowerShell or Windows shell scripting
- Nice to Have
- Database design tools such as ERWIN or Embarcadero
- RUP / structured development methodology
- CONNX ETL tool
- Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity Planning Additional Requirements
- Ability to work in a 24x7 on-call support environment if required
- Must pass background investigation
- Work collaboratively with criminal justice agencies and state partners
