Job Description

    Role: SQL DeveloperLocation: RemoteKey Responsibilities
  • Design and review database schemas for application releases
  • Perform database maintenance (index rebuilds, table reorganization)
  • Support day-to-day database operations and troubleshooting
  • Optimize database performance and query efficiency
  • Assist with database upgrades and migration strategies
  • Administer multiple SQL Server databases across environments
  • Develop views, stored procedures, triggers, and functions
  • Work with Microsoft BI stack (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS)
  • Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI
  • Support ETL processes and data transformation
  • Participate in unit testing and assist with system/UAT testing
  • Ensure compliance with CJIS architecture standards including JRA, NIEM, NCSC, and GFIPM
  • Required Skills
  • 5+ years experience with:
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022 (Development & Administration)
  • SSRS, SSIS, SSAS
  • ETL processes
  • Power BI dashboards
  • Writing Views, Triggers, Stored Procedures, Functions
  • Database performance tuning (indexes, constraints, keys)
  • Windows Server 2019/2022
  • PowerShell or Windows shell scripting
    Nice to Have
  • Database design tools such as ERWIN or Embarcadero
  • RUP / structured development methodology
  • CONNX ETL tool
  • Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity Planning
  • Additional Requirements
  • Ability to work in a 24x7 on-call support environment if required
  • Must pass background investigation
  • Work collaboratively with criminal justice agencies and state partners
