About the position As an Account Manager, you will be the strategic owner of client accounts, ensuring long-term success and revenue growth. You will serve as a consultative advisor, building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and expanding the account through cross-selling and upselling. You are expected to identify opportunities within existing accounts, ensuring DTN's solutions continue to meet evolving customer needs. Responsibilities β€’ Account Ownership & Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts β€’ Build strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a strategic consultant β€’ Maintain a deep understanding of client needs, challenges, and business objectives β€’ Provide proactive recommendations, introducing new solutions that add value and drive engagement β€’ Have a deep understanding of the energy and refined fuels sector β€’ Ensure customer satisfaction and retention by delivering top-notch service and innovative solutions β€’ Sales Growth, Cross-Selling & Upselling Identify need to bring in additional DTN expertise and solution engineer resources to for ongoing account expansion. β€’ Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to expand account value β€’ Conduct regular business reviews with clients to uncover unmet needs β€’ Strategically introduce new products, services, and solutions that align with client goals β€’ Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to optimise client offerings β€’ Negotiate contract renewals above a set threshold, ensuring continued success and profitability β€’ Hunt for Additional Opportunities Continuously analyze accounts for new business opportunities, leveraging industry insights and customer feedback β€’ Identify potential referrals, partnerships, and expansions within existing accounts β€’ Work alongside Account Executives to develop strategic growth plans for key clients β€’ Stay ahead of industry trends to recommend solutions that differentiate DTN Requirements β€’ 5 years of experience in software and/or SaaS sales β€’ 5+ years of experience in account management, consultative sales, or B2B client relations β€’ Strong understanding of specified sector/industry β€’ Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills β€’ Proven ability to drive revenue growth through cross-selling and upselling β€’ Self-motivated, with a strategic mindset and proactive approach to account management β€’ Proficiency in SFDC software for tracking leads and managing pipelines β€’ A consultative and professional approach to engaging with customers β€’ Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances Benefits β€’ Competitive Salary β€’ Unlimited PTO β€’ Collaborative and dynamic work environment. β€’ Flexible working hours β€’ Competitive Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Plans β€’ 6% 401K matching β€’ Unlimited access to 13k+ courses via learning platform to support employee career advancement β€’ Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Apply tot his job
