Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Systems Engineer to join our team at Home Depot. As a key player in our organization, you will lead a team of engineers in designing, building, and supporting our hardware and software technology systems. This is a remote opportunity with a competitive salary range of $23-$30 per hour, and we offer immediate openings for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers in designing, building, and supporting hardware and software technology systems
- Develop and implement infrastructure to meet changing organizational and product requirements
- Participate in the selection and implementation of physical and virtual infrastructure
- Contribute to the development of reusable processes, technical drawings, and related information
- Manage and support junior professionals in the team
Major Responsibilities:
As a Staff Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Loading and configuration of success, debugging, and support for data technology (25%)
- Transaction of internal equipment, property management, operation, and maintenance (15%)
- Preparing and focusing on studying marketing methods and behavioral materials to identify improvement options (30%)
- Supporting and operating with products and groups to understand required actions (30%)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 1-3 years of work experience related to cloud infrastructure
- 1-3 years of experience in Google Cloud Platform (preferred)
- Vocational or technical training in various aspects of information technology
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative, multi-role engineering team
- Skilled in problem-solving and problem-solving across a variety of technology disciplines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in debuggers, runtime analysis, libraries, written programming, and software development tools
- System and environment analysis, design, and optimization
- Experience with language-oriented programming (preferably Java), distributed computing environments, and code analysis
- Safety design and management system
- Disaster recovery planning and infrastructure
- Expertise in operating system commands and utilities and scripting
- Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD tool chain
