We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Student Success & Retention Advisor to join our team at Anne Arundel Community College. As a key member of our Student Achievement and Success Program (SASP), you will play a vital role in providing direct academic, career, and personal guidance to support the academic success, transfer, and graduation of our students.
Job Highlights:

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized academic, career, and personal advising to students
- Develop and implement educational plans to support student success and retention
- Monitor and document student progress, identifying areas for intervention and support
- Collaborate with campus resources and community services to provide comprehensive support to students
- Participate in recruitment and outreach efforts to support student enrollment and retention
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree or higher in a related field
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience working with diverse student populations
- Experience supporting or working with Hispanic/Latinx communities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and student information systems
