Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Systems Engineer to leverage technical skills to address national security challenges. The role involves designing and developing systems for Air Force ISR analyst capabilities and communications systems, while also mentoring and leading teams in advanced technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Translate real-world needs into technical specifications
- Design and develop systems for Air Force ISR analyst capabilities and communications systems
- Evolve systems with advanced technology solutions
- Share expertise through leadership and mentoring
- Merge on-premises and mission knowledge with cloud-based expertise to support resilient weapon systems
Skills
- Knowledge of Windows Server or RHEL 8.x or higher
- Ability to travel CONUS or OCONUS up to 25% of the time
- TS/SCI clearance
- HS diploma or GED and 6+ years of experience with IT system engineering, Associate's degree and 4+ years of experience with IT system engineering, or Bachelor's degree and 1+ year of experience with IT system engineering
- Experience with DoDAF or SysML
- Experience with VMWare, including v7.x and virtualized infrastructure design and configuration
- Experience with Dell Hardware
- Experience with scripting for configuration automation, including Python, BASH, or Perl
- Experience with containerization, including Kubernetes
- Master's degree
- Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Certification
