Key Responsibilities...
Β Prepare individual and business tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065.
Β Perform bookkeeping and accounting tasks with precision.
Β Utilize Lacerte and QuickBooks for tax preparation and bookkeeping.
Β Leverage your intermediate to advanced Excel skills for various accounting tasks.
Β Maintain high levels of organization and accuracy in your work.
Β Take thorough notes and communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.
Β Collaborate with team members and work independently to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
Β Exhibit a high level of integrity and reliability in all tasks.
Qualifications
Β 2-5 years of tax preparation experience, including familiarity with Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065.
Β 2-5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
Β Proficiency in Lacerte and QuickBooks.
Β Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.
Β Experience in payroll is a plus.
Β CPA or EA certification is a plus but not required.
Β Highly organized, punctual, and willing to work extra hours when needed.
Β Inquisitive and quick to learn new skills.
Β Strong team player with the ability to work well both individually and in group settings.

Compensation
Β Annual salary of $58,000 to $68,000, plus performance bonus.
Work Schedule
Β Full-time, with expected hours of no less than 40 per week.
Β Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends as needed.

Β San Diego, CA 92131. Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
