Job Description
Provide expert nursing care as a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry. This role focuses on continuous cardiac monitoring and managing patients with various cardiac and medical conditions. As a critical member of the healthcare team, you will deliver compassionate and skilled nursing interventions to promote patient recovery and well-being.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients’ cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care tailored to individual patient needs
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments following established protocols
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies
- Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia
- Prior experience in telemetry nursing or relevant acute care settings
- Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge of cardiac monitoring
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
