Job Details
We are seeking a talented and experienced Permanent Remote Tax Senior to join our Finance industry team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Tax Senior or Senior Tax Associate positions with a focus on multi-state income tax returns, sales tax, use tax, property tax returns, tax provision, and governmental regulations. This is a permanent remote position that requires a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
ΓΒ Prepare income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
ΓΒ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
ΓΒ Prepare and review multi-state income tax returns
ΓΒ Prepare and file sales tax, use tax, and property tax returns
ΓΒ Assist with tax provision and year-end accruals
ΓΒ Assist with general accruals and other accounting-related tasks
ΓΒ Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations
ΓΒ Communicate effectively with clients and team members
ΓΒ Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
Qualifications
ΓΒ Minimum of 3 years of experience in Tax Senior or Senior Tax Associate positions
ΓΒ Strong knowledge of multi-state income tax returns, sales tax, use tax, and property tax returns
ΓΒ Experience with tax provision and year-end accruals
ΓΒ Experience with governmental regulations and compliance
ΓΒ Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
ΓΒ CPA certification preferred
ΓΒ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
ΓΒ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ΓΒ Ability to work independently and remotely
ΓΒ Detail-oriented and organized
