Job Description
We are launching a project related to DNA and genetic testing services and need an experienced US-licensed healthcare attorney for compliance consulting and legal document drafting. Key Requirements: - Licensed attorney in the US with expertise in healthcare and privacy law. - Deep knowledge of HIPAA, GINA (Genetic Information - Nondiscrimination Act), FDA regulations for direct-to-consumer genetic tests, and relevant state laws (e.g., CCPA/CPRA). - Proven experience drafting privacy policies, terms of service, consent forms, and disclaimers for health/tech websites involving genetic data.
- Understanding of genetic privacy risks and best practices for data security. Scope of Work: - Initial consulting session (1–2 hours) to assess compliance risks. - Drafting and reviewing privacy policy, terms and conditions, cookie policy, and other legal documents tailored to US regulations. - Recommendations on liability limitations, user consents, and data handling. - Potential ongoing support.
