- Duties
- Transcribe detailed clinician - client interactions during groups, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to input, update, and maintain patient information efficiently.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
- Support the creation of compliant behavioral health documentation that reflects the provider’s notes accurately for legal and billing purposes.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure all records are complete, accurate, and accessible for ongoing client care.
- Skills
- Strong transcription skills with excellent attention to detail and typing speed.
- Proven experience with EMR or EHR systems used in medical offices or clinical settings.
- Prior medical office experience is desirable.
- Familiarity with medical documentation standards and record management practices.
