A challenging opportunity is available for an experienced Audiologist specializing in telehealth services within a school setting. This contract position offers the chance to provide essential hearing assessments and consultative services remotely, supporting students' auditory health and educational success.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct telehealth audiological evaluations and screenings for school-aged children.
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to develop hearing intervention plans.
- Monitor and adjust hearing aids and assistive listening devices as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school and healthcare regulations.
- Provide counseling and education to students, parents, and educators on hearing health and communication strategies.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Audiology from an accredited program.
- State licensure and certification to practice as an Audiologist.
- Experience conducting telehealth audiology services, preferably in educational environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children and school personnel.
- Proficiency with telehealth technology platforms and electronic health records.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule within the contract terms.
