Key Responsibilities
Β Deliver engaging and effective virtual instruction tailored to students with special needs.
Β Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support each studentΒs learning and development.
Β Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other educators to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Β Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed to ensure success.
Qualifications
Β Bachelor's degree in Education or Special Education (required).
Β Master's degree in Special Education or related field (preferred).
Β State of Illinois Teaching Certification (PEL) is a must.
Β Experience in a virtual teaching environment is a plus, but not required.
Β Strong communication and organizational skills.
Β Passion for working with students with special needs and helping them succeed.
Requirements
Β Ability to work as an independent contractor.
Β Reliable home computer with high-speed internet access.
Β Successful completion of a basic technical screening.
