- Job DescriptionHybrid Role , Candidate must be local to CTProvide server and related infrastructure support to the Client, which is implementing new laboratory information management systems and a new high-performance computing device for genomic sequencing work
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining server hardware and operating systems
- dministration and management of VMWare infrastructure like vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, and virtual machines.
- Managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high availability.
- Implementing security measures, including backups, and data protection.
- Managing software updates, patches, and system upgrades.
- utomating administrative tasks and creating scripts for system management.
- Craft and implement network configurations and test plans
- Gathering and presenting System Performance Metrics
- Perform platform software upgrades and failover testing
- dministration of routers, switches, and other network equipment
- Perform audits as needed
- Work with IT teams in preparing platform enhancements and configurations
- Identify areas of the infrastructure for optimization
- Develop detailed architectural diagrams and procedure documents
