Job Posting: West Virginia General Education Teacher
Location: West Virginia Teaching Certification Required
Position: Full-Time Contract (Remainder of 2024/2025 School Year)
Key Responsibilities:
Β Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans for students with diverse needs, using ABA principles.
Β Collaborate with classroom staff, including paraprofessionals, to ensure effective support for students.
Β Provide direct instruction and support to a caseload of 12 high school students with varying disabilities.
Β Track and analyze student progress, adjusting strategies to maximize student growth and success.
Β Work closely with parents, administrators, and other support staff to promote positive outcomes for students.
Β Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages social, emotional, and academic growth.
Requirements:
Β West Virginia General Educator Teaching License
Β Core Subjects
Β Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Β The ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and paraprofessionals.
Β Must be authorized to work within the United States.
