Job Description
We are looking for detail-oriented Work-From-Home Proofreaders to review and edit written content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency. This is a fully remote position with flexible scheduling options, open to both part-time and full-time candidates.
- The ideal candidate has a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and spelling, and can work independently while meeting deadlines.Key Responsibilities
- Proofread and review documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors
- Ensure content follows style guidelines and brand standards
- Correct inconsistencies in tone, language, and structure
- Verify accuracy of text before final submission
- Track edits and provide feedback when necessary
- Meet turnaround times and productivity expectations
- Requirements
- Excellent command of written English
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Reliable internet connection and computer
- Familiarity with proofreading tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs)
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in proofreading, editing, or writing
- Familiarity with style guides (APA, MLA, Chicago, or company-specific guides)
- Experience proofreading digital content, articles, or marketing materials
