Job Description
I am a physician and practice owner building a new website for my dermatologic surgery practice. I am not looking for a marketing agency or branding designer. I need a technical WordPress expert to build a fast, SEO-optimized framework that I will continue expanding with content myself.
This is a one-time build project focused on structure, speed, and technical SEO — not ongoing marketing.
Goals of This Project:
Build a clean, lightweight, high-performance WordPress site that:
Loads extremely fast (Core Web Vitals optimized)
Is structured properly for local SEO
Uses reusable templates so I can easily add new pages later
Is mobile-first and modern
Is easy for a non-designer (me) to maintain
Required Skills:
You should have strong experience with:
WordPress (custom setup, not bloated themes)
Lightweight themes such as Astra, Kadence, or GeneratePress
Gutenberg or lightweight page builders (NOT Elementor-heavy builds)
Technical SEO setup (schema, sitemap, indexing structure)
Website performance optimization
Clean UI layout for professional service businesses

You will be building the website framework and technical foundation, not writing all content.

Homepage (layout + structure)
Location page template (for multiple offices)

SEO & Technical Setup
SEO plugin setup (RankMath or Yoast)
Schema markup integration (medical/local business)

Proper heading structure (H1, H2 hierarchy)
