Job Summary
The Elite Job is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant – Tech Entry Level to join our remote finance team. Key Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals.
Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Reconcile bank statements, invoices, and financial discrepancies.
Assist senior accountants with budgeting and financial forecasting tasks.
Maintain digital records of financial documents and ensure data accuracy.
Support tax preparation and compliance documentation when required.
Monitor expenses and help ensure proper cost allocation.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely financial data submission.
Contribute to the improvement of accounting procedures and financial processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote work environment.
Experience
0–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or a related role.
Internship or academic project experience in accounting is considered an advantage.
Exposure to digital accounting systems or ERP tools is a plus.
Working Hours
Full-time remote position.
Standard working schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Flexible work hours may be available depending on team and project requirements.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts such as accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations.
Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.
