They are seeking a highly skilled IT Engineer to join their growing team.
Job Summary: Generation IX is looking for a motivated IT Engineer with expertise in cloud computing, networking, and security to join their team. The successful candidate will work remotely, managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
Responsibilities:
ΓΒ Implement, monitor, and maintain Microsoft Azure solutions
ΓΒ Provide support for Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Sharepoint/OneDrive, and Teams
ΓΒ Troubleshoot Office 365 Advance Threat Protection issues
ΓΒ Manage SSO and MFA solutions (Azure MFA, Duo)
ΓΒ Knowledge of email retention and litigation hold processes
ΓΒ Backup, Restore, Recovery, and high availability strategies for Microsoft Azure environments
ΓΒ Strong knowledge of IaaS and PaaS services
ΓΒ Windows Server and SQL database creation, configuration, upgrade, migration, and patching
ΓΒ Troubleshoot Azure environment performance issues, connectivity issues, security issues, etc.
ΓΒ Identify and troubleshoot Azure server and SQL database-related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space, and other resources
ΓΒ Work with a complex Active Directory, Azure AD, LDAP, and strictly follow standards, procedures, and processes
ΓΒ Advanced knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Kerberos, and Windows Authentication
ΓΒ Knowledge of network protocols such as DNS, SMTP, SNMP, SSH, SFTP
ΓΒ Knowledge of Network and TCP/IP routing/subnetting
ΓΒ Knowledge of Windows operating systems
ΓΒ Manage enterprise endpoints using Microsoft Intune
ΓΒ Experience with Azure AD, Active Directory including managing/maintaining GPOs
Skills and Abilities:
ΓΒ Associates degree and industry certifications preferred
ΓΒ 3 years of Microsoft Azure AD, Windows/Office 365, and Microsoft Intune experience
ΓΒ 2 years of Sharepoint Online
ΓΒ Knowledge of tools like Connectwise Automate or Autotask, monitoring software, endpoint management, etc. is a plus
ΓΒ Strong PowerShell skills
ΓΒ Ability to work independently and in a team environment
ΓΒ Strong communication skills
ΓΒ Willingness to learn and be mentored by other engineers
Requirements:

ΓΒ Availability to work some afterhours and weekends
ΓΒ Occasional travel may be required
