Job Description
Who We’re Looking For: The Fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will play a pivotal role in designing and executing our marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and market penetration. You will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to position Wild Folk as Canada’s leader in non-alcoholic beverages.
- Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy: Execute and build on Wild Folk’s marketing strategy by focusing on brand positioning, market research & and competitive differentiation.
- Brand Awareness: Lead initiatives to enhance brand visibility and recognition through integrated marketing campaigns, leveraging both existing and new partnerships.
- Digital Marketing and E-commerce: Drive digital marketing initiatives including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and online advertising to increase website traffic, customer engagement, and online sales.
- Market Research and Consumer Insights: Conduct market research to inform product development and improve customer experiences with the Wild Folk brand.
- Sales Strategy: Develop effective sales tools, presentations, and collateral that support both D2B and D2C acquisition and retention.
- Budget Management: Manage marketing budgets effectively, allocate resources wisely across different channels, and optimize ROI on marketing investments. Identify and pursue relevant funding opportunities to grow and sustain Wild Folk’s brand.
Qualifications: • Experience within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) and food/beverage industry, with a preference for those with direct marketing or leadership experience; • Understanding of beverage industry consumer behaviour, market dynamics, & trends; • Track record of successfully launching and strategically scaling brands; • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive measurable business results;
- Bachelor’s or Masters in Marketing, Business Administration; or equivalent experience
Location and Hours: Flexible hours and ability to work remotely, hours to be discussed. Compensation: Competitive rate depending on experience and responsibilities.
